The four stars of the Chicago flag are well known throughout the city. What might not be so well known is that each star represents a significant event in the history of Chicago. These prints take those historic events and fit them to the shape of the 6 pointed stars. The stars represent:

Fort Dearborn
The Great Chicago Fire of 1871
The World's Columbian Exposition of 1893
The Century of Progress Exposition of 1933-34
