The brief was to create a cityscape of Sydney that included all of its famous landmarks, icons and figures. The look of the illustration needed to be similar to the Chicago 2010 poster. The legend below explains all of the references in the illustration.

  1. [...] I had to work on it more. Actually, my wife said that my earlier version looked too “pastelly”. So, I looked at it again…compared it to Chicago 2010…and it definitely looked different. The structures on the Sydney poster did not pop enough. I went back into it and upped the contrast on some of the buildings. Now…it pops. Check out a larger version and details here. [...]
