New York Poster – DONE!

Done and done. Yes, the New York poster is complete. I’m going to let it sit over night and look at it again tomorrow…sometimes, I get last minute ideas or want to make last minute changes. I’m not expecting it, but it is late and I’m not ready to do all of my “promotion” yet. For now, check out the manhole cover I decided to use as my signature…the final touch.

Buy the DJ Panda T-Shirt!

Over the past couple months, I’ve been helping the good folks over at Scared Panda design some of their new t-shirts. Now, they are available for sale! Above, is the unisex version. They also have a women’s version for sale. They’ve done a great job with these shirts and there is a good cause behind it. 10% of every sale of this t-shirt will go to to Esperanza Community Services. Do some good!

Still Tinkering with the Site

Hopefully, it will be the last time for a while. Yes, if you come ever even slightly regularly, you will see that I have made another change to the site. I am in the process of making new business cards and some self-promotion sheets, so I thought I would fix my we presence first. I was not completely satisfied with what I did earlier this year, so I thought I would take another look at it. I was happy I switched to a blog, but the look didn’t seem right. I finally realized I needed to stay away from the gimmicks and focus on the most important part of all this self-promotion…the work. If I visit another illustrators site, that is what I want to see…the themes, quotes, and fancy decoration take away from the work. So, I decided to make a new header that included a slice of my illustrations. Actually, I made three total, so they will change depending on what the “randomizer” decides to throw out there. I readjusted the sidebar. I kept the work and store links, but I just made the smaller. I moved up the mini-bio so it could be seen even if you did not scroll down. And, I only included the most essential social networking sites. I hated giving up the logos I made previously, but they never really seemed to fit.

I think I am done…for now…
