Chicago 2010 will be making an appearance at the Chicago Art Open at the River East Art Center on 435 E. Illinois Street starting Tuesday, April 20th and ending Friday, May 7th. It is presented by the Chicago Artists’ Coalition and features professional, emerging, and students artists from Chicago. The public opening for the show is Saturday, April 24th from 12:00 to 4:00. If you are in the area, please check it out! Here is my work in their catalogue…mine is very different from the rest.

I keep making product! As the summer approaches, I want to make sure I have a variety of products to sell at festivals. I’d like to believe I know what will sell, but I really don’t know. I figure if I have more quality stuff to show, then people will be more likely to take a look around instead of just passing by my booth. So, I decided to take something from the archives that has gotten some positive comments over the years…Lego Goes. I made a small run of 50 posters to sell. The paper is thicker than the posters I got made so it definitely has a different feel. I will be packaging these flat instead of getting it rolled. I was given the suggestion that people like to see posters already matted so they can imagine it on their wall. I plan on doing that for all my posters, but I think it is necessary for Lego Goes because the poster might bend if rolled. Once again, some qulaity work done by Large Format Posters!
