Murderball

No…this is not about the movie. Strangely, it is about a game I used to play when I was a kid that is really dodgeball. I guess I always thought dodgeball was the game you played while lined up againsy a wall, but as a I found out from Wikipedia…dodgeball is murderball. Why do I bring it up? Well, I love games, and this was always one of my favorites. It is simple. It is challenging physcially…you really get your whole body involved. In some ways, it is challenging mentally. Plus, anyone can figure out the rules quick and join in. I know dodgeball has this stigma attached to it where the strong dominate the weak, but I never see it that way. If everyone plays it respectfully (I guess that is a lot to ask), it can be really engaging. and ont all about just hitting people with a ball. I think getting the amount of people on the floor is key. I think 10 (like the movie) is too small, but I have seen games where there are like 75 people and that is too large. If each side has 10 people, that makes it interesting to me. I miss it…
