Since I’ve been into homemade music videos of classic hip-hop songs, I thought this one was particularly inspiring…
More Artwork and Some Publicity
I’ve been busy with school recently, but I’ve also been busy with some artwork. Let’s take a walk through my site.
Under illustrator, I have a piece that was recently featured on a blog that features one of my new favorite hip hop artists, Wale, rapping with some Eskimos. Also, my brother asked me to create a photograph for him and his wife that is similar to the one I did of my wife and I. Also, I hope by the time you read this I will have a piece up featuring folks at a bus stop…thinking…and contemplating…
Under artist, I have a stop animation of a baseball card house of cards being built. Plus, I took a photograph of my paint-riddled sink at school.
Finally, I have created a new B – The Hip Hop Puppet episode that is cutainly available for your viewing pleasure on YouTube.
Enjoy!

As I’m posting this, the site for Yeondoo Jung is down, but I think it is worth seeing. Anyway, I think you get the idea…she takes drawings from children and creates photographs from them. I guess there is kind of a commercial aspect to this kind of artwork, but I like how she pays attention to details and is mindful of the perspective children often draw in. (Notice…everything is on a flat plain.) Maybe this is just interesting to me because I teach art, but I guess you can decide that for yourself.
